Ham Fritters

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Biscuit Mix
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Cold Non-Fat Milk
  • 1 Cup Fresh Corn
  • 1 Pinch Of Ground Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Of Salt
  • 1 Pinch Of Ground Basil
  • 2/3 Cup Cubed Ham, Fully Cooked

  • Cooking Directions:
The first step to this wonderful ham fritters recipe is to combine biscuit mix and sugar together until well blended. Set aside. In another mixing bowl beat the large egg with the non-fat milk.  Combine the wet ingredients into the dry until they are well moistened. You want to fold in the corn half a cup at a time. In a large skillet or deep fryer you want to heat the oil to 375 degrees. Drop in a large spoon full amount and let fry on each side for 1 minute. Should be nice and golden brown. Be sure to place the done Fritters onto a paper towel for oil absorption. Serve as an appetizer or even a main dish. Serve warm with juice.
