Beef Sashimi


Ingredients:  
2 lb. of beef tenderloin 1 C. of chopped onion
1 T. of chopped garlic 1/2 C. of curry paste
4 T. of oil 1 C. of water
1 T. of finely chopped green onion 2 T. of pureed radish
1 T. of finely chopped onion  
   
Sauce Ingredient:  
2 T. of soy sauce 1/2 . T. of lemon juice
1/2 C. of dashi ( see note )  
   
Procedures:  
  1. Choose beef tenderloin that is fresh and color is bright. Trim the sinews and fat, then cut it into 4 pieces.
  2. Grease the wok with 2 T. of oil, add chopped onion, cook till fragrant. Then add curry paste and water, mix well and let it cooled.
  3. Marinate the steaks with curry paste overnight.
  4. Remove the curry paste from the steaks with paper towel. Grease the pan with 2 T. of oil and pan-fry the steaks until both sides turn golden brown. Set aside and let it cool.
  5. Prepare the sauce: Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Cut the steaks against the grain into thin slices, and arrange on a plate. Sprinkle chopped green onion, chopped onion and pureed radish over the steaks and pour the sauce over. Then serve.
